Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown might be eyeing a role in Donald Trump’s potential next White House administration—if his recent social media activity is to be believed. The often controversial ex-NFL star teased the possibility this week, sparking speculation with a cryptic post before swiftly deleting it.
Brown, who has been vocal in his criticism of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, hinted at a possible White House gig after news broke that CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins was appointed as the network’s new Chief White House Correspondent.
On Wednesday, Brown responded to an X (formerly Twitter) post announcing Collins’ new role by writing, “See you at the White House,” accompanied by an eyeball emoji. However, the post was quickly deleted, leaving fans and followers wondering about his intentions.
No official statement has been made by the White House regarding Brown’s potential employment, and it remains unclear whether Brown’s comments were meant seriously or were simply another stunt.
Given Brown’s unpredictable social media history, some fans speculated that his comment may have had more to do with Kaitlan Collins’ appearance than any real political ambition. Brown previously stirred controversy by sharing images of himself with Tom Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, in a manner that many deemed inappropriate.
However, Brown’s interest in politics, particularly in supporting Donald Trump, appears to be genuine. In an interview with DailyMail.com, Brown stated that he would seriously consider a role in Trump’s administration if given the opportunity.
He expressed a willingness to help Trump succeed in any capacity, whether by working in the White House or pursuing elected office himself.
“I’d be the man in the office,” Brown said when asked about the kind of role he would like to take on. “The House of Representatives or something.” His aspirations suggest he is open to any position that allows him to contribute to Trump’s vision.

Brown has previously demonstrated his support for Trump in a public manner. He attended a Trump rally in Pittsburgh and even led a voter registration drive at a tailgate party in the city.
Both events occurred before Trump’s successful re-election, and Brown’s presence at the rally was noted when he, along with former Steelers teammate Le’Veon Bell, appeared onstage with Trump. His efforts were aimed at galvanizing support for Trump’s campaign and encouraging voter participation.
Since Trump’s re-election more than three weeks ago, Brown has continued to be active on social media, often directing his criticism toward Vice President Kamala Harris. Earlier this week, Brown targeted Harris in a now-deleted post on his X account.
The post came in response to a clip shared by the Democratic party, in which Harris delivered an emotional message encouraging viewers to stay empowered and engaged despite political setbacks.
“I just have to remind you, don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you,” Harris said in the clip. “You have the same power that you did before November 5th. And you have the same purpose that you did. And you have the same ability to engage and inspire. So don’t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you.”
Brown, seemingly mocking Harris’s emotional tone, captioned a screenshot of her looking visibly moved with, “I swear to drunk I’m not God,” a comment that raised eyebrows and drew criticism. His post reflected the sentiment of other conservative voices, who have also questioned Harris’s demeanor and fitness for office.
Antonio Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowler, last appeared on an NFL field in January 2022. In a highly publicized incident, Brown ripped off his pads and jersey in the middle of a game at MetLife Stadium against the New York Jets and left the field, effectively ending his NFL career.
Since then, Brown has remained in the public eye largely through social media controversies, business ventures, and his outspoken political views.
Whether Brown is genuinely considering a role in Donald Trump’s administration or simply seeking attention, his latest comments have certainly added to his unpredictable and headline-grabbing persona.
As the political landscape continues to evolve, only time will tell if Antonio Brown’s ambitions in politics will materialize into something real, or if this was just another chapter in the ongoing saga of one of the NFL’s most enigmatic personalities.
