Antonio Brown always stays in the news.
In April 2023, celebrity jeweler Shuki International initiated legal action against former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown, alleging that he failed to settle a debt of $1.1 million for jewelry purchases.
According to the lawsuit, Shuki provided Brown with two diamond rings valued at $500,000 each, along with a white gold chain and a ring. Brown purportedly agreed to make payment by December 1, 2022, but failed to fulfill his obligation, instead releasing a song titled “Shuki Diamonds” as a tribute to the disputed items.

Despite being spotted sporting one of Shuki’s diamond rings multiple times, including a recent sighting in Los Angeles, Brown neglected to respond to the lawsuit.
Consequently, a judge ruled in favor of Shuki last week, issuing a default judgment against Brown, mandating him to pay $1,095,000.
Shuki expressed disappointment via TMZ over the lack of communication from Brown, with whom he previously shared a close friendship. The jeweler attempted to reach out to Brown following the court ruling but received no response.
In April, Shuki voiced willingness to drop the lawsuit if Brown returned the jewelry, emphasizing the importance of accountability and mutual respect in their relationship. However, Brown’s failure to respond led to the legal judgment.
This incident is just one of several legal and financial challenges Brown has faced since his retirement from the NFL. In October 2023, he was arrested for allegedly failing to meet child support obligations, while in June, he was ousted as owner of the Albany Empire in the National Arena League due to financial irregularities, including unpaid expenses and reversals of player and coach payments.
