Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce, is gearing up for his post-football career in television, with plans to host a revamped game show. Kelce is set to helm the revival of ‘Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?’, albeit with a slight twist in the format.
Reportedly titled ‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?’, the show will see the 34-year-old athlete stepping into the hosting shoes once filled by comedian Jeff Foxworthy during its original run on FOX from 2007 to 2009. This marks the second revival of the series, as Foxworthy returned to host a reimagined version in 2015.
Recent reports indicate that Kelce will be based in Los Angeles during the show’s production, which has allegedly already commenced shooting. An anonymous source disclosed to Deuxmoi that singer Taylor Swift made a visit to Kelce on set while he was working.

While some may find Kelce’s hosting role unexpected, it’s revealed that the agreement to host the show was made long before his recent surge in popularity, and he is now obligated to fulfill the contract. The production team plans to shoot several test episodes to refine both the show and Kelce’s performance, ensuring a polished outcome.
This venture into television isn’t Kelce’s first rodeo, as he previously starred in the dating show ‘Catching Kelce’ and even hosted an episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’ last year. Beyond TV, his podcast ‘New Heights’, co-hosted with his brother Jason, has garnered widespread acclaim, earning nominations for two Webby Awards.
On the football field, Kelce boasts two consecutive Super Bowl victories with the Kansas City Chiefs, including a memorable overtime triumph against the San Francisco 49ers.
