On Wednesday night, five Detroit Lions players received the honor of being selected for the 2023 Pro Bowl, yet one notable absence from the list was star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Despite an exceptional season marked by a career-high 1,371 yards and nine touchdowns, St. Brown openly expressed his frustration with the Pro Bowl snub when addressing the media on Thursday.
Asserting that he believed he deserved a spot, St. Brown’s sentiments resonated with some fans who echoed his sentiments on social media.

While acknowledging the greatness of the selected receivers, including CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys, Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles, and Puka Nacua of the Los Angeles Rams, St. Brown vowed to intensify his efforts, stating, “I guess I didn’t do enough during the season, so I’ve got to go harder.”
“Yeah, gotta go harder,” St. Brown said.
Despite the disappointment, the Detroit Lions secured the NFC North title for the first time in team history and currently occupy the No. 3 seed in the NFC as they prepare for their upcoming playoff matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
