The Team USA center is dominating at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Through just two games in group play, the Las Vegas Aces star has already amassed an impressive 47 points and 26 rebounds, all while shooting a remarkable 57.6 percent from the field.
In Thursday’s 87-74 victory over a resilient Belgium team, Wilson once again showcased her prowess on both ends of the court. Team USA’s size advantage was evident throughout the game, with Wilson leading the charge by posting 23 points and 13 rebounds, securing yet another double-double in Paris.
Earlier in the week, during a commanding 102-76 win against Japan on Monday, Wilson delivered an equally stellar performance, scoring 24 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

According to FIBA, Wilson has now become the first Team USA player to record at least four Olympic double-doubles since the start of the 21st century. This feat underscores her exceptional performance and consistency at the highest level of international competition.
“A’ja Wilson has scored more than 20 points and collected more than 10 rebounds for the second straight game in the 2024 Olympics, after not achieving this in her eight games during the 2020 edition. She now has four double-doubles at the Olympics, the most of any USA player in the 21st century,” FIBA reported.
Wilson’s dominant presence on the court not only bolsters Team USA’s chances for gold but also solidifies her status as one of the top players in the world. As the tournament progresses, all eyes will be on Wilson to see if she can continue her record-breaking performances and lead Team USA to further victories.
