NBA Commissioner Adam Silver occasionally has to address conflicts within the league. One ongoing feud involves NBA veteran official Scott Foster and Golden State Warriors guard Chris Paul.
In November, Foster ejected Paul during a game against the Phoenix Suns, leading to discussions about a personal issue between them.

Paul mentioned a meeting with Foster, Doc Rivers, and Bob Delaney to resolve the matter related to Paul’s son. Speaking on SiriusXM NBA radio, Silver acknowledged the tension but emphasized the expectation for both to focus on their professional duties.
“Whatever the bad blood is between you two, you [Chris Paul and NBA Referee Scott Foster] don’t have to be friends but you both have to go out and do your jobs,” Silver said. “That’s my expectation going forward.”
Despite a history of clashes, it seems Foster and Paul will continue their on-court interactions.
It is probable that Paul will continue to encounter Foster officiating his regular-season games and throughout the Warriors’ playoff run. The dynamic between Foster and Paul has evolved into one of the more unexpected rivalries in the world of sports.
