Adam Schefter may need a mulligan after his latest reporting error.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers have arrived in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. However, Schefter mistakenly mentioned the Washington Commanders instead of the 49ers in his tweet. This announcement may have surprised Commanders fans, considering their 4-13 season record and last-place finish in the NFC East.
Both the 49ers and the Chiefs have less than a week to prepare for Super Bowl 58, scheduled for Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium.

As the Chiefs aim to secure back-to-back Super Bowl victories, a feat not achieved in nearly 20 years since the 2005 New England Patriots, they will face off against the NFC champions, the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs previously defeated the 49ers in the Super Bowl a few years ago.
Kansas City’s tight end Travis Kelce is expected to have support from his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at Allegiant Stadium. Swift is anticipated to make the journey from Tokyo, concluding her Eras Tour, to cheer on Kelce.
It’s worth noting that the Washington team’s last Super Bowl victory was in the 1991 season, and they appeared in Super Bowl XXVI in 1993 against the Buffalo Bills.
