The Monday night game turned into a nightmare for Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets, as the seasoned quarterback was forced to leave the field due to an injury before he could even complete the first drive of his debut.
Rodgers, the former Green Bay Packers star and four-time MVP, was one of the most highly anticipated acquisitions of the offseason for the Jets. However, it now appears that his stint in New York may be over almost as soon as it began.

The unfortunate incident unfolded when Rodgers remained down on the field following a sack by Buffalo Bills edge rusher Leonard Floyd during the Jets’ first offensive possession in the high-profile matchup.
Medical staff rushed to attend to him, and there were concerns that the QB may have suffered a torn Achilles, which would likely mark the end of his season. That is now a reality.
Interestingly, an X user by the name of @DaddyZaslav eerily predicted Rodgers would experience an Achilles injury on his debut. The tweet read, “Aaron Rodgers is going to tear his Achilles on a rain-drenched MetLife turf in 2.5 hours,” approximately two-and-a-half hours before the game.
The Jets initially listed the QB as questionable to return but later ruled him out in the second quarter. Subsequently, Rodgers was seen wearing a walking boot on his left foot.
