Will Aaron Rodgers make a return later this season to rescue the Jets from another year of misery? Jay Glazer recently addressed this question.
During FOX’s Thanksgiving morning coverage, Glazer provided an update on Rodgers’ recovery from a torn Achilles. The four-time MVP is currently working towards returning to the field.

Contrary to earlier information suggesting Rodgers might only return if the Jets are in playoff contention, Glazer revealed a change in perspective. “Here’s the thing with Aaron Rodgers. I was told originally that if they’re out of playoff contention, Aaron probably wouldn’t try to come back. That changed this past week,” Glazer stated. “I think Aaron, even if they’re out of it, still wants to show he was able to come back faster from that Achilles tear – faster than pretty much every quarterback ever.”
The Jets are eager to have Rodgers back at the helm, as their offense has faced significant challenges with Zach Wilson this season. While Tim Boyle is set to start against the Dolphins this Friday, the likelihood of him rejuvenating the passing game remains low.
With a current record of 4-6, the Jets find themselves on the outside looking in for the AFC playoffs. The sentiment expressed in the conclusion suggests skepticism about Rodgers potentially prioritizing his personal narrative over the team’s long-term welfare.
