Despite not yet completing an official regular season pass for the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, is already contemplating his long-term future with the team.
During an appearance on the Look Into It podcast, Rodgers expressed his hopes of playing for the Jets for another two, three, or even four years. In a clip posted on Twitter, Rodgers emphasized his dedication to his diet, fluid intake, and overall improvement to optimize his performance on the field.
Despite facing challenges such as recovering from a snapped Achilles after just four plays in September and playing home games on the notoriously poor turf at MetLife Stadium, Rodgers remains optimistic about his future with the team.
“And I got back on the practice field late in the season, and couldn’t get to a top speed sprinting, but really been in a good place rehab-wise and feeling really good. Again, I’m hopeful I can play 2 or 3 or 4 more years, but you need to have some good fortune there, too.”

However, the success of Rodgers’ tenure with the Jets may depend on factors beyond his control, such as the team’s performance and potential changes in coaching and management. If the Jets fail to make the playoffs this season, the head coach and general manager could face dismissal, casting uncertainty on Rodgers’ future with the team.
Nevertheless, if Rodgers can lead the Jets to the postseason, it would mark the end of the team’s lengthy playoff drought, dating back to 2010, and solidify his place as a key figure in the franchise’s resurgence.
