Aaron Rodgers just can’t seem to avoid stirring up controversy.
Every Tuesday, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers joins the Pat McAfee Show, where he reportedly earns “millions,” to engage in discussions with his longtime friend AJ Hawk and newfound friend Pat McAfee.
During today’s appearance, McAfee brought up Rodgers’ remarkable recovery from Achilles surgery, which has him walking without crutches just over a month after the procedure – a feat that defies medical expectations.

McAfee noted, “This guy does things his own way; he actually defies science” in reference to Rodgers’ surgery and his exceptional healing process.
Rodgers took this opportunity to take a humorous jab at former Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci, saying, “If science is Dr. Fauci, you’re damn right I’m defying science,” with a laugh.
As McAfee correctly anticipated, Rodgers’ comment was not unexpected. The quarterback has been openly vocal about his opinions on the COVID vaccine and vaccines in general. It’s clear that he’s approaching his Achilles recovery in his own unique way, and it seems to be yielding impressive results so far.
Rodgers is on track for a faster-than-normal return, and it’s likely that he’ll continue to keep the pot stirring until he’s fully healed.
