Aaron Rodgers doesn’t shy away from making things political.
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a regular guest on the Pat McAfee Show, providing a window into his personality, which has been a bit more private during most of his career. During these interviews, he sometimes offers insightful perspectives, while at other times, he stirs up controversy.
In a recent appearance, he was asked about the necessity of having an “alpha” mentality as a quarterback.

Rodgers responded, “You gotta have a little sense of humor, be okay with pranking people,” he said. “Interesting to see the personalities of all the guys across the league because everybody’s different. I’m a weird hippie who also loves his teammates, and feels like I can lead and inspire just about anybody from any walk of life.”
He went on to discuss various quarterback personalities, like Peyton and Eli Manning, highlighting their abilities to connect with people. He mentioned their family lineage and the ability to tell dad jokes, as well as their penchant for pranks. He emphasized that each quarterback brings their unique personality to the game and how they relate to their teammates.
During the conversation, after receiving praise for his distinctive way of thinking, Rodgers disclosed his choice for president.
“I believe in medical freedom, informed consent, and I’m voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr,” he stated with a smile.
This isn’t the first time Rodgers has publicly supported Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and it likely won’t be the last. It makes you wonder if Rodgers might consider entering the world of politics following his retirement from the NFL.
