Aaron Rodgers is not a happy camper.
The quarterback for the New York Jets expressed his dissatisfaction with his team being selected to appear on the show “Hard Knocks.”
Speaking to KPIX-TV, Rodgers acknowledged the media’s interest in him and the team due to the high expectations surrounding them.
“I understand the appeal with us,” Rodgers told KPIX-TV. “Obviously, there’s a lot of eyes on me. A lot of eyes on our team. A lot of expectations on our squad.
“They forced it down our throats, and we’ve got to deal with it.”

He mentioned feeling as though the decision was forced upon them and that they now have to deal with it. It is worth noting that the NFL cannot require teams with first-year head coaches, recent playoff appearances, or past appearances on the show within the last decade to participate.
As a result, only the Jets, New Orleans Saints, Washington Commanders, and Chicago Bears were eligible.
Prior to joining the Jets, Rodgers had played for the Green Bay Packers for 18 years. The Jets will begin training camp on July 19.
