The former quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, who was traded to the New York Jets in April, has reportedly acquired a brand-new mansion in the Montclair area of New Jersey for a staggering $9.5 million.
The luxurious eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom home boasts a gourmet kitchen, mezzanine, wine cellar, fitness room, media room, home office, and a three-car garage equipped with a charging station.
According to North Jersey, this contemporary mansion, which fetched the aforementioned price, offers stunning panoramic views of the New York City skyline. Situated roughly 10 miles from MetLife Stadium and about 20 miles from Manhattan, this property is currently considered the most expensive sale in Essex County this year.
“The contemporary mansion, which sold for $9.5 million, has eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The modern home also features a gourmet kitchen, a wine cellar, and a gym. The home is about 10 miles from MetLife Stadium and about 20 miles from Manhattan,” North Jersey reports.
“A $9.5 million home marked the most expensive sold in Essex County so far this year. The real estate agent for that home could not confirm who bought it.”
Despite its “ultra-private” status, the home features massive glass windows that do not suggest seclusion. As for Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback celebrated Halloween in 2021 by growing out his hair and dressing as the iconic character John Wick.

Coincidentally, the aesthetic of his new home seems to align with the look of the popular movie franchise. Notably, Rodgers signed a lucrative $112.5 million contract with the Jets in July, making the purchase of this new property a mere 11% of his earnings.
Throughout his eight-year tenure with the Green Bay Packers, he accumulated a whopping $300 million in career earnings. In the 2022 season, Rodgers threw for 3,695 yards and achieved 26 touchdowns, numbers that the Jets would undoubtedly love to see repeated in 2023.
