Birds of a feather.
This week a photo surfaced showing Aaron Rodgers and fellow anti-vaxxer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. out hiking together. Kennedy, who is running as an independent candidate in the presidential election, praised the quarterback’s resilience, referring to Rodgers’ recovery from an Achilles injury he sustained during the New York Jets’ season opener, causing him to miss the entirety of his first year with the team.
While Rodgers might have been a potential playoff contender had the Jets secured a postseason spot, their disappointing performance dashed those hopes.
Currently in the offseason, Rodgers was spotted hiking with Kennedy Jr., although the specific location remains undisclosed.

Rodgers has faced significant criticism in recent months for his off-field behavior. He insinuated on a January 2 appearance on Pat McAfee’s ESPN show that Jimmy Kimmel could be associated with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, sparking a feud between the late-night host and Rodgers. Kimmel denied any connection to Epstein and threatened legal action against Rodgers, expressing concern for his family’s safety.
Additionally, Rodgers has been embroiled in controversy over his stance on Covid-19 vaccinations and spreading misinformation. He famously misled the public in August 2021 by claiming to be “immunized” against the virus, only revealing his unvaccinated status months later after testing positive for Covid-19.
Kennedy himself has faced criticism, particularly in July 2023, for comments deemed anti-Semitic regarding Covid-19, sparking widespread condemnation. Despite his lineage as the son of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy, Kennedy Jr. announced in October his intention to run as an independent presidential candidate, distancing himself from the two major political parties.
Recently, Kennedy issued a public apology after his super PAC aired a $7 million Super Bowl advertisement reminiscent of JFK’s 1960 commercial, acknowledging the controversy it sparked.
