Cabs are here!
During a press conference at the New York Jets’ training facility in Florham Park on May 23, Aaron Rodgers, the team’s new quarterback, revealed that he’s a fan of the MTV series “Jersey Shore.”
When asked about his knowledge of New Jersey, where the Jets play and practice, Rodgers mentioned that besides Teterboro Airport, he only knew about the show. He was assured that the series did not represent the state properly, but had a good time watching it.
“I was walking out to practice today and the media are here, always doing different videos and things, and the video (prompt) was, ‘Do your best Jersey Shore’ impression,’ ” Rodgers said. “I just kind of laughed to it, and then [Jets player) C.J. Uzomah was walking next to me and he said he’d never watched the show.
“I said, ‘How can you not watch the show? One of the greatest shows back when MTV actually used to have content on it. It’s phenomenal.”

Rodgers, who has been a fan of the show since its inception in 2009, did not mention whether he had watched the reboot, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.” Despite facing a tough test in his Jets debut against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, Rodgers was excited to talk about how phenomenal the show was and even went to DJ Pauly D’s set in Vegas back in 2011.
Rodgers just became part of the family.
