The legend of Nikola Jokic continues to grow.
Nikola Jokic recently had an amusing encounter at a convenience store in Bosnia.
Reports suggest that while purchasing beer in a small town near his hometown of Sombor, Serbia, Jokic was told by a cashier named Dina,
“You’re so tall, maybe you should play basketball.”

Apparently, Jokic and his friends stopped at the market during a break from their work nearby.
The owner of the market, Dino Zorlak, shared that everyone was surprised by Jokic’s visit but delighted to meet him.
“I was in the city when they called me and said do you know that Nikola Joki? is in our market. This worker called me and said that Nikola and his friends stopped for him to pass with a forklift to do work, and then they entered the market for a drink and some small things. They were kind and in a good mood. No one could believe it, but it happens. Dina, the cashier, made us all laugh. Of course, we shared the videos. Raja was delighted to meet her, but we are sorry that we didn’t have a chance to talk a little. Nikola, and everyone else is always welcome in Goražde and with us,” Dino Zorlak, owner of the market, told Klix.ba.
It seems that Jokic may have been en route to the Tara River Canyon for a rafting trip, a place he visited last year.
Jokic has been enjoying his time at home, getting back on the court for local pickup games and embracing the warm reception from his community.
