Looks like James Harden has a preferred trade destination.
Perennial NBA All-Star James Harden is requesting a trade for the third time in the last few seasons.
After initially wanting out of Houston in 2020, Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets, where he joined the likes of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to form a super team. However, Harden again requested a trade after a season and ended up with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Now, after a year and a half with the 76ers, Harden has once again expressed his desire to be moved. Though he recently opted into his contract with the 76ers, it is clear that Harden still wishes to be traded.
According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, Harden has revealed that his ideal trade destination is the Los Angeles Clippers.
Report: “(James Harden) wants to play for the Clippers and the Sixers are already in the process of discussing his desired move.”

He is reportedly unhappy with how the 76ers handled his free agency, and Clippers stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are open to the idea of bringing him in.
This move could also potentially reunite Harden with his former Rockets and Thunder teammate, Russell Westbrook.
Harden has demonstrated in the past that he has the ability to force his way out of undesirable situations, as evidenced by his messy departures from the Rockets and Nets.
It seems that his situation with the 76ers is heading in a similar direction.
