Tyreek Hill’s investigation by the Miami-Dade police concluded without charges, following allegations of assault and battery, but new details regarding an incident over the weekend have emerged. The Miami Dolphins wide receiver is accused of hitting a charter boat worker in the back of the head, after Hill and members of his party went aboard the boat without permission.

Per Rabin, the incident happened after Hill wanted to fish for tarpon from the dock. They’re prevalent in the shallow waters, due to scraps thrown overboard by the boats. Hill was told to stop fishing from the dock.
Words were exchanged. And then Hill allegedly struck one of the men telling him to stop fishing.
The police report, as noted by Rabin, doesn’t mention tarpon fishing. The police report suggests the argument began when two women were on a boat at the marina without permission.
According to Rabin’s report, police were not called to the dock at the time. The alleged victim reported the incident on Monday.
Whatever happened, the issue definitely is not over from the perspective of law enforcement.
The incident reportedly occurred after the employee told Hill to stop fishing for tarpon off the dock.
The Miami-Dade Police will forward the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review, but the employee did not want to press charges. Despite Hill’s absence in the past season, the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, a team Hill won with the year before.
Hill has achieved Pro Bowler status in each of his seven seasons and was a first-team All-Pro for the fourth time this past season, with career-highs of 119 catches and 1,710 receiving yards.
