The ongoing fallout from the bombshell lawsuit involving FS1 personalities Skip Bayless, Joy Taylor, and an FS1 executive has taken an unexpected turn, sparking a heated feud between Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and former FS1 commentator Jason Whitlock.
The lawsuit, filed by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji, alleges workplace misconduct, including claims that Bayless offered $1.5 million for sexual favors and that Taylor engaged in relationships with FS1 executive Charlie Dixon and host Emmanuel Acho to advance her career. Portnoy, never one to shy away from controversy, weighed in on the allegations, dismissing them as “bullshit” and questioning their validity.
Portnoy’s Take on the Allegations
Portnoy publicly expressed skepticism about the lawsuit’s claims, particularly focusing on the accusations against Taylor.
“Who f***ing cares if they had a consensual relationship or not? And since when is [Emmanuel] Acho some heavyweight who gets people promoted?” Portnoy said. “I honestly don’t even know why Joy Taylor is in the lawsuit? Cause she was mean to her hairdresser yet simultaneously spilled her guts to her? Makes ZERO sense.”
Portnoy also advised the accused to vocally defend themselves against the allegations, arguing that silence only fuels public speculation.

Whitlock Fires Back
Jason Whitlock, who previously worked at FS1, took issue with Portnoy’s remarks. On his podcast, Whitlock criticized Portnoy’s stance, accusing the Barstool founder of lacking moral judgment and calling him a “sexual degenerate.”
“No common sense here. No biblical wisdom here,” Whitlock said. “Dave Portnoy – and again, I’m not saying this to disparage, I’m just speaking factually – he’s a sexual degenerate that can’t tame his lust for young women.”
Whitlock added, “Dave Portnoy doesn’t operate from the same biblical morality that I do. I’m suggesting Portnoy and I serve two different Gods.”
Portnoy’s Retort
Never one to back down, Portnoy fired back on social media, mocking Whitlock’s relevance and appearance.
“This fatzo is still alive and kicking?” Portnoy wrote. “Kudos man. Thought you died years ago. Looks like I lost my dead or alive pool.”
Portnoy’s response quickly went viral, adding fuel to an already fiery exchange.
Whitlock’s Past Remarks Resurface
Complicating matters further, Whitlock himself has faced scrutiny for comments he made about Joy Taylor in the wake of the lawsuit. Whitlock claimed he intentionally kept his distance from Taylor during their time as coworkers, saying, “Because I knew myself. I know what I’m capable of. That big rack of hers that she showed off constantly. And that peanut butter skin with that big rack.”
These remarks, intended as self-reflection, have been widely criticized for their inappropriate tone, especially given the ongoing nature of the lawsuit.
Portnoy’s History
Portnoy, no stranger to controversy, has faced allegations in the past. In 2021, Insider published a report accusing him of “violent and humiliating” sexual encounters. Portnoy denied the claims, suing the publication and defending himself loudly on social media. Although the lawsuit against Insider was dismissed and Portnoy later dropped his appeal, he continues to be a polarizing figure.
Current Status of the FS1 Lawsuit
As of now, neither Bayless nor Taylor has publicly addressed the lawsuit’s allegations. FS1 issued a statement saying they “take these allegations seriously” but declined further comment due to ongoing litigation.
A Feud That Captures Public Attention
The unexpected clash between Portnoy and Whitlock underscores how divisive the FS1 lawsuit has become. While the legal proceedings are far from over, the public discourse surrounding the case—and the personalities involved—continues to evolve, bringing new voices and controversies into the spotlight.
