The wife of Buffalo Bills quarterback Shane Buechele shared a heartfelt one-word message to Brittany Mahomes following the Bills’ victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11. Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was present at the highly anticipated rivalry game held in Buffalo, New York.
It was a tough night for the Chiefs, as they suffered their first loss of the season after starting with an impressive 9-0 record. The loss ended an undefeated streak that had lasted since Christmas Day of last year. With the Chiefs dropping to 9-1, the 9-2 Bills are now just half a game behind them for the top seed in the AFC.
During the game, Brittany Mahomes shared an Instagram story featuring a picture of herself alongside Paige Buechele, the wife of former Chiefs quarterback and current Bills backup Shane Buechele.
The two were seen attending the game together from the comfort of a stadium suite, showing their support for their respective teams in a friendly manner.
“My girllllll [teary-eyed emoji] [heart emoji],” Brittany captioned the photo, which showed her and Paige enjoying the game at Highmark Stadium. Brittany was dressed stylishly in a striped ensemble, complete with a button-up jacket and wide-leg pants. She also sported a bow-shaped half-up ponytail that added to her fashionable appearance.
In response, Paige Buechele posted a one-word message for Brittany on her Instagram story: “Reunited [three teary-eyed emojis].” The post highlighted the ongoing friendship between the two women, despite their husbands playing for opposing teams on this particular night.
Shane Buechele, who previously played for the Chiefs, won a Super Bowl with Kansas City during the 2022-23 season. After two seasons with the team, Shane signed with the Buffalo Bills during the offseason, looking to make his mark with a new squad.
Unfortunately, Shane is currently on injured reserve due to a neck injury, which has sidelined him for much of the season.

While his football career has hit a temporary roadblock, Shane Buechele has had much to be excited about off the field. Just last month, he and Paige announced that they are expecting their first child together. “Baby Buechele coming next spring! We’ve been praying for you,” Paige shared in a heartfelt Instagram post, expressing her joy and excitement about becoming parents.
Meanwhile, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes are also expecting a new addition to their family. Before the start of the 2024 season, the couple announced that they are expecting their third child.
The news has been another reason for celebration in the Mahomes household, even as the Chiefs work to regain their winning form on the field.
The Bills, after their hard-fought victory over the Chiefs, will now head into their bye week, allowing the team some well-earned rest before preparing to face the formidable San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football in Week 13.
With playoff positioning on the line, the Bills will be focused on building momentum as they continue their push toward the postseason.
As for the Kansas City Chiefs, they will be looking to bounce back from their first loss and start a new winning streak. Their next challenge comes on the road against the 3-7 Carolina Panthers, where they hope to regain their form and maintain their position at the top of the AFC standings.
Despite the setback, the Chiefs remain one of the league’s most formidable teams, and Patrick Mahomes will be eager to lead his squad back into the win column.
