It was quite the Sunday Funday for Jason Kelce, as the retired Eagles center enjoyed a lively afternoon with Philadelphia fans in California, making headlines for his energetic celebrations. Videos circulating on social media showed the future Hall of Famer living his best life while the Eagles demolished their rival Cowboys in Dallas, securing a dominant 34-6 victory.
The 37-year-old Kelce, who retired earlier this year, was seen behind the bar of a Santa Monica establishment, appearing to take drink orders from fans.
The scene was filled with laughter and excitement as the beloved former player interacted with the crowd. Not content to simply serve drinks, Kelce also led fans in singing the Eagles’ iconic fight song, “Fly, Eagles, Fly,” high-fiving supporters, and posing for photos as the team improved their season record to 7-2.
Kelce, in his first season as an analyst for ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown,” was in California to cover the Rams’ Monday night matchup against the Dolphins in Los Angeles.
The retired center has been a fan favorite not only on the field but also in his new role in broadcasting, bringing his authenticity and passion for the game to the airwaves.
Kelce decided to hang up his cleats in March after 13 storied seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, a career that included a memorable Super Bowl victory. The seven-time Pro Bowler left an indelible mark on the franchise and its fans, earning a place as one of the most beloved players in Eagles history.

However, it’s been an emotional and eventful week for the Eagles legend. Kelce made headlines after an incident on Penn State’s campus, where he confronted a fan who made a derogatory comment about his younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his high-profile relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.
The incident occurred in University Park, Pennsylvania, earlier this month when a fan approached Jason Kelce, saying, “Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a f—–t for dating Taylor Swift?” Upon hearing the slur, Jason turned around, grabbed the fan’s phone, and slammed it to the ground in anger.
Addressing the incident on the November 4 edition of “Monday Night Countdown,” Kelce expressed regret over his reaction. “I think everybody’s seen on social media the thing that took place this week. Listen, I’m not happy with anything that took place. I’m not proud of it. In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don’t think that that’s a productive thing. I really don’t. I don’t think it leads to discourse, and it’s not the right way to go about things. In that moment, I fell down to a level that I shouldn’t have,” Kelce said.
Jason Kelce also opened up further about the ordeal on the “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with Travis Kelce. In the podcast’s latest episode, Travis praised his older brother for taking responsibility and showing accountability.
“The real situation is you had some f—ing clown come up to you and talk about your family, and you reacted in a way that was defending your family,” Travis said. “You might’ve used some words that you regret using, and that’s something you just gotta kind of learn from and own. I think you owning it and speaking about it shows how sincere you are to a lot of people in this world, and it shows what you said on Monday night—that’s just not who you are. I love you, brother, and I think you said that perfectly.”
Family has always been at the core of everything the Kelces do, and this week was no different. The dynamic duo has been getting into the holiday spirit with help from legendary singer Stevie Nicks. Last week, Jason and Travis Kelce dropped their new duet, “Maybe This Christmas,” as part of Jason’s holiday-themed album, “A Philly Special Christmas Party.”
The project is a follow-up to their previous successful holiday album, and it’s been well-received by fans, further showcasing the brothers’ close bond and their shared love for spreading joy.
For Jason Kelce, life after football has been filled with new adventures, from broadcasting to music. Even when faced with challenges and controversies, his genuine character and devotion to family remain his defining traits.
Sunday’s celebrations in California were a perfect example of Kelce continuing to connect with fans and embracing his new role outside the game while staying true to his roots as a Philadelphia Eagle.
