Devon Mostert, wife of Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert, took to social media recently to share a strong warning regarding the potential election of Kamala Harris as the 47th President of the United States. With the presidential election less than a week away, Devon made her political stance abundantly clear, emphasizing her support for Donald Trump and expressing significant concerns about Harris’s ability to lead the nation.
Devon posted an “I Voted” story on her Instagram, surrounded by various pro-Donald Trump messages, making it clear where her vote had gone. One particular Instagram story featured a clip of former U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard speaking at a Trump rally held at Madison Square Garden.
Alongside the clip, Devon Mostert wrote a detailed post warning her followers about what she believes are the dangers of a Kamala Harris presidency.
“An attack on America is going to happen. It’s not a matter of if… it’s a matter of when,” Mostert began, expressing her fears about the nation’s security. “As heartbreaking as that is (and I pray every day it doesn’t) … but it’s only a matter of time. And a draft WILL happen,” she continued, suggesting that future conflicts could lead to a reinstatement of the military draft.
Addressing mothers specifically, Devon wrote, “Mommas, who do you want as Commander-in-Chief?” She went on to criticize the current administration, drawing a direct connection between Kamala Harris and President Biden’s handling of military affairs.
“The side who doesn’t even acknowledge our fallen military service members?!?! The Biden Administration’s (*let’s NOT forget, Kamala is currently the VP) withdrawal from Afghanistan was HORRIFIC – killed 13 of our own and left our allies for slaughter by the Taliban!” Mostert expressed frustration and concern over what she described as failures in military leadership.

Devon also referenced a quote from Kamala Harris during a previous debate, writing, “Kamala said during the debate, ‘There is not one member of the United States military who is in active duty in a combat zone, in any war zone around the world – the first time this century.’ – THAT IS A LIE.”
She argued that a vote for Kamala Harris would lead to further conflicts and instability. “A vote for Kamala is a vote for war. NOBODY on the international stage is going to take HER seriously,” Mostert stated emphatically.
Devon’s comments brought attention to the issue of the military draft, noting that all males in the United States between the ages of 18 and 25 are required to register with the Selective Service.
While the draft has not been used since the Vietnam War ended in February 1973, she highlighted the potential for it to be reinstated in times of major conflict. The draft system has only been employed four times in American history, during World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
The Mosterts have been married since 2017 and share three sons—Gunnar, 6, Neeko, 4, and 2-year-old Myles.
Devon’s concerns about a potential draft and the future of America appear to be rooted in her role as a mother, as she questioned the leadership qualities of Kamala Harris and expressed her worries about the future safety of her family and others.
Devon’s post drew significant attention on social media, sparking discussions about the upcoming election and the different stances on military policies.
While her strong support for Donald Trump was evident, her posts also resonated with others who share similar fears about national security and leadership. As the election approaches, voices like Devon Mostert’s continue to reflect the intense emotions and divisions that characterize this election season.
