Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson is single once again after his engagement to Sharelle Rosado, a star of Netflix’s reality series Selling Tampa, ended recently. The couple, who began dating in November 2020, had a daughter, Serenity, in January 2022 and got engaged last year.
Rosado confirmed the split on social media, asking fans to “stop tagging us” in posts about their relationship and adding, “He is a free man, ladies.” Johnson shared her post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, along with a GIF of a man looking down with slumped shoulders, hinting at the bittersweet nature of their split.
Rosado gained fame from Selling Tampa, a show centered around a group of luxury real estate agents, which aired on Netflix in 2021. Since their relationship began, she and Johnson often shared glimpses of their life together, including celebrating the arrival of Serenity. Despite parting ways, they remain connected through their shared parenting responsibilities for their young daughter.
Recently, Johnson has been a familiar face in the media landscape. He co-hosts the popular podcast Nightcap alongside fellow NFL star Shannon Sharpe, where the duo discuss sports, pop culture, and personal stories from their athletic careers.
