Travis Kelce received some heartfelt birthday love from a very special woman in his life—his mom, Donna Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs star tight end celebrated his 35th birthday on Saturday, Oct. 5, during his annual Kelce Car Jam event in Kansas City, Missouri, and the touching moment between mother and son became one of the highlights of the day.
As Travis stepped off the stage after addressing the crowd at the charity event, which supports his Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation, Donna, 71, was there to greet him with a warm hug. After briefly flashing a peace sign to the cheering crowd, Travis leaned in to embrace his mom, creating a sweet moment that captured the attention of everyone in attendance.
Travis was dressed casually for the event, wearing a gray and white shirt, a black baseball cap, and sunglasses. His mom, Donna, opted for a deep pink T-shirt adorned with flower designs. The event featured a variety of food and drink options for guests, along with an impressive display of vintage cars—a fitting celebration for the NFL superstar who is known not only for his football skills but also for his off-the-field charisma.
While on stage, Travis shared with the crowd what he hoped for as part of his birthday celebrations: a win for the Chiefs in their upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, Oct. 7. “How about we go get a win on Monday night? How about that? You guys up for that?” he asked, eliciting a loud cheer from the supportive crowd.

In addition to his public wish for a Chiefs victory, Travis jokingly told PEOPLE about the birthday gift he’d love to receive this year: “Another Super Bowl, if you’ve got one!” It’s no surprise that the two-time Super Bowl champion is focused on adding another ring to his collection.
Travis wasn’t just surrounded by fans at his Kelce Car Jam event—his family and close friends were also there to celebrate with him. His father, Ed Kelce, his brother Jason Kelce, and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce were all in attendance.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, who is currently pregnant with their third child, also joined the festivities. It was a family affair, and the atmosphere was filled with love, laughter, and admiration for the birthday boy.
Though the event was filled with familiar faces, one notable absence was Taylor Swift, who has been romantically linked to Travis since rumors of their relationship began in September 2023. Swift, 34, has attended several Chiefs games to support Travis, most recently on Sept. 15 when the team played the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium.
However, she was unable to attend the Kelce Car Jam as she is preparing for the final shows of her record-breaking Eras Tour, which will resume on Oct. 18 in Miami, Florida.
Despite Swift’s absence, the event was a huge success, and Travis Kelce clearly felt the love from his family, friends, and fans. With birthday cards, renditions of “Happy Birthday,” and the joyful presence of those closest to him, Travis’s 35th birthday was a celebration to remember.
And with the Chiefs gearing up for their Monday night game, he has his sights set on making his birthday wish for a win come true.
