Caitlin Clark is making the most of her break from the Olympics by stepping into the spotlight in a different way!
The WNBA star, along with her Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull, joined country music singer Jordan Davis onstage during his Indianapolis tour stop on Wednesday, July 31. Their surprise appearance was a highlight of the evening.
According to Indiana Pacers and Fever writer Scott Agness, who posted a clip of the performance on X (formerly Twitter), Clark and Hull joined Davis for the finale of his show. Clark, 22, rocked a black tank top, cutoff shorts, and a ball cap, while Hull, 24, looked stylish in a dress and boots.
Together, they performed Davis’s hit song “Buy Dirt,” waving to friends offstage and sharing a heartfelt embrace with the musician as the crowd enthusiastically sang along at Everwise Amphitheater.

Despite being passed over for the women’s Olympic basketball team, Clark is fully enjoying her downtime while the WNBA is on break. She’s also been keeping up with the Olympic action, particularly the performances of her fellow WNBA players.
The Iowa standout told reporters on Tuesday, July 30, that she has watched “a good amount” of the Paris Summer Olympics. “I watched USA Women yesterday. That was fun. I watched USA men. I try to watch as much as I can,” she said. “Obviously, the perfect time is during practice with the time change in Paris, so maybe Christie [Sides] should cancel practice so I can watch more of the Olympics.”
Team USA women’s basketball is scheduled to face Belgium in its second matchup of the Paris Games on Thursday, August 1. They had an impressive start, winning their first game against Japan on Monday, July 29, with a score of 102-76.
Earlier this month, Clark, Angel Reese, and their fellow WNBA All-Star Team members took on the U.S. Women’s National Team in preparation for the Games. On Saturday, July 20, the All-Star team secured a 117-109 victory over Team USA in a highly anticipated competition. This marked only the second time such a game had been played, with the first occurring in 2021 ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
As Clark continues to enjoy her break, her versatility and enthusiasm are evident. From thrilling basketball performances to sharing the stage with a country music star, she’s making every moment count during this Olympic break.
Her dedication to supporting her peers and making the most of her time off the court is a testament to her passion for the sport and her vibrant personality.
