Taylor Swift is lending her star power to give Team USA an extra boost of motivation for the upcoming Olympics.
The 34-year-old global music sensation, who is currently captivating audiences with her sold-out Eras Tour in Munich, has teamed up with NBC to create an inspiring video to cheer on the athletes.
Even with her jam-packed schedule, Swift took the time to support Team USA, sharing her excitement on Instagram with the message, “So ready to scream at my TV cheering for these athletes.”
In a remarkable display of her influence, Swift managed to gather 40,000 Swifties who couldn’t get tickets to her concert but settled on a nearby hill to experience the event.
The motivational video features prominent athletes such as LeBron James, Noah Lyles, Sha’Carri Richardson, and Simone Biles, set to Swift’s high-energy song “Ready For It,” which was performed live in Paris.
Fans were quick to react, with one writing on social media, “MISS AMERICANA SUPPORTING TEAM USA THAT’S POETRY.”

This collaboration has sparked rumors that Swift might make a surprise appearance at the Olympics, especially since she has several days off, including the date of the closing ceremony on August 11.
Swift has a longstanding history of supporting the Olympics. NBC invited her to perform at the 2008 Beijing Games, but she couldn’t attend due to her Fearless Tour commitments. Nonetheless, her music was featured prominently in promotional content for the event.
In 2021, Swift publicly supported Simone Biles after the gymnast withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics to focus on her mental health. Swift’s heartfelt message read, “I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you.”
Simone Biles is now back in action, competing in the gymnastics qualifiers in Paris where she delivered a stellar performance. Her outstanding routines were pivotal in helping Team USA secure a coveted spot in the team final.
The event drew a star-studded crowd, with several high-profile celebrities in attendance. Among them were Tom Cruise, Snoop Dogg, and Ariana Grande, all of whom were on hand to witness Biles’ electrifying performance.
The presence of these celebrities added an extra layer of excitement and glamour to an already thrilling event, showcasing the widespread admiration and support for Biles and her teammates.
