Travis Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce, has earned praise from Taylor Swift fans for his blunt response to the news of her stalker’s arrest by police.
Last week, an American man who had made threats against both Swift and her boyfriend Kelce on social media was detained before her first Eras Tour show in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
According to USA Today, the suspected stalker was “taken into custody at the entry control point to the venue before the concert” on Wednesday after “initial investigations could not rule out that he posed a threat.”
Five days after the arrest, Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, discovered Ed Kelce’s sharp reaction on his Facebook account. Sharing a Forbes article about the stalker’s arrest, Ed wrote: “Love to know who this some-b***h is.”

Swift’s devoted fans were quick to express their admiration for Ed’s response. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “PROTECT ED KELCE AT ALL COSTS,” while another commented, “Ed Kelce, the icon, the legend that you are.” A third fan added, “The Kelce’s will always protect each other and fight for each other and that’s such a true family. Now Taylor is part of the family and will be protected too!” A fourth fan exclaimed, “Go off, Ed! He means business!”
After discovering that Ed frequently shares articles about his son Travis and Swift on Facebook, another fan remarked, “Ed Kelce is just one of the girls.”
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have enjoyed a whirlwind romance over the past year, with both meeting each other’s parents early in their relationship. Ed Kelce was seen with Taylor in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium when she attended a Kansas City Chiefs game in October. Recently, Travis revealed on the “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast that his dad often comes across rumors about the celebrity couple online and then asks him if they are true. “Do you know what he’ll do? He’ll see some wild s*** come across and be like, ‘What the f— is this?'” Travis said. “It’ll be something so fing out of the blue, like something about me and Taylor, and he’s like, ‘Hey, what the… are you guys OK?’ I’m like, ‘Dad, get the f off Facebook, dad. Are you f***ing kidding me?’ That’s his search engine.”
The amusing dynamic between Travis and his dad, coupled with Ed’s protective and candid nature, has endeared the Kelce family even more to fans of both the NFL star and the pop megastar.
