Chris Harrison is breaking down why he believes Travis Kelce is the “perfect” match for Taylor Swift.
After spending time with the 34-year-old Chiefs tight end at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, Harrison, 52, spoke about the superstar couple on the July 17 episode of his podcast, “The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever with Chris Harrison.”
“He’s having a blast, but he really does a good job of putting himself out there and not hiding from it, not trying to act like he’s bigger than this,” Harrison said of Kelce.
“In fact, he’s like, ‘No, I’m gonna shotgun a beer with you, take a picture. I’ll sign your chest, whatever,'” the former Bachelor host continued, adding that he “really admires” the way Kelce is handling his newfound levels of fame.
“He’s embracing it. He’s having a blast,” Harrison said, recalling a former segment on his show where he explained “why [Kelce] would be perfect for [Swift].”
Harrison elaborated, “He is not as big a star as her, but he’s as big a personality and he embraces everything that comes with Taylor Swift’s magnificent spotlight. He can handle it.”

Kelce’s life has “changed exponentially because he’s dating the most famous woman in the world,” Harrison explained, adding that it’s also “incredible” to see how his brother Jason’s life has changed too.
“I know he’s also a big figure. He’s going to be an instant Hall of Famer, one of the best offensive linemen of all time and all that, and Super Bowl champion. So in his own right, he is a star,” Harrison said of Jason, 36.
“These two walking around — what rock stars they are,” he added of the Kelce brothers and the fanfare that followed them to the celebrity golf tournament in Tahoe. “It was almost unimaginable,” Harrison described, quipping, “You’d think Bono was there.”
Harrison said Kelce was “having the time of his life” during the ACC weekend, where fans spotted the Chiefs star dancing to some of his girlfriend’s songs while on the course.
In addition to Harrison, Kelce caught up with his pal Miles Teller on the course and greeted Teller’s wife, Keleigh Sperry, who is a close friend of Swift’s.
Travis and Jason’s father, Ed, was also seen greeting fans on the course, and Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, stopped by to support her husband before returning to their three daughters.
Harrison’s insights highlight how well Kelce is adapting to life in the spotlight with Taylor Swift and the positive impact it’s having on those around him.
