Caitlin Clark is celebrating her boyfriend Connor McCaffery on his birthday with a heartfelt message and a playful jab!
The WNBA star, 22, took to Instagram to pay tribute to McCaffery on his 26th birthday, sharing a sweet message highlighting some of his best qualities.
“Happy Birthday Con! Celebrating you is easy 🙂 thankful to have someone as selfless and as loving as you in my life?,” Clark wrote. She then humorously added, “May this be the year you finally find a way to outshoot me 😉 Love you always ??.”
McCaffery, who works as an assistant for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA, joined in on the fun, commenting, “And I’ll keep letting you win those shooting contests!!!!!”
Clark’s post included a carousel of black-and-white photos capturing candid moments between the couple. In the first shot, the WNBA star sat on her boyfriend’s lap as they shared a laugh on a couch. Another photo showed McCaffery hugging her on a basketball court while she was in her Indiana Fever uniform. The couple also posed for a mirror selfie, with Clark wearing a crop top and combat pants, while McCaffery sported a dark t-shirt and white pants. The final selfie showed McCaffery kissing the back of Clark’s head as she posed for the camera.

The couple began dating in April 2023 and have been public about their relationship since August of that year. To mark their first anniversary in April, McCaffery posted a tribute to Clark on Instagram, saying, “One year w the best ?? doing life w u has been easy, and you never cease to amaze me.. can’t wait to watch u live out ur dreams in person ?? love you ??.” This post included one of the same photos Clark used in her birthday tribute to him.
Clark also celebrated their anniversary with a social media post, writing, “One year of the best mems w my fav person ? you make everyday better and I can’t wait for many more adventures together… love you ???.”
The couple first made their relationship Instagram official in August 2023 when Clark shared several photos of them cuddled up on a boat, captioning it, “Best end to summer.”
As both athletes continue to support each other in their respective careers, their relationship appears to be filled with love, laughter, and a shared passion for basketball.
