The following year, he played 12 games, missing five due to a fractured thumb. In 2023, Prescott played all 17 games and delivered an outstanding performance, finishing second to Lamar Jackson in MVP voting.
Prescott’s contract status adds another layer of intrigue to his situation. He is entering the final year of his current deal and is expected to receive an extension that could make him the highest-paid player in the NFL.
