“I’m just so happy. I know the work I put in,” Reese said. “Coming into this league, so many people doubted me and didn’t think my game would translate. They thought I wouldn’t be the player that I was in college or better. But here I am, proving them wrong.”
A couple of weeks ago, Reese was seventh in fan voting for the All-Star game, but her stellar performances ensured she secured a spot. The All-Star Game is set to take place on Saturday, July 20, at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
This year’s WNBA All-Star Game will be held in Phoenix, the home of the Mercury, adding an extra layer of excitement as fans and players alike look forward to seeing Reese and other top talents showcase their skills on the big stage.
