Late last month, Travis Kelce made a highly anticipated on-stage debut with Taylor Swift during her concert at Wembley Stadium in London.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, dressed in a full tuxedo, delivered a nearly flawless performance that quickly went viral on social media.
Two weeks later, Kelce revealed on his podcast with his brother Jason whose idea it was for him to join Swift on stage. Surprisingly, it turns out the idea was his, albeit initially mentioned in jest.
“I initially mentioned it to Tay,” Kelce shared. “I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era.’”
Swift, however, didn’t take it as a joke. “Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?” she asked.
“I was just like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me? I’ve seen the show enough — might as well put me to work here,’” Kelce recalled. “And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in. There was no bike in case I ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers or anything. It was the safest option.”

Kelce then revealed that he incorporated some dance moves from the movie Dumb and Dumber. “I always wanted to pull out this move, but I never knew like when I should pull it out where it made sense,” he added. “That’s one of my favorite moves of all time!”
Kelce clearly enjoyed himself, and the moment added a unique and memorable twist to Swift’s concert. His enthusiastic participation and willingness to embrace the fun only added to the excitement of the performance, leaving fans and attendees with a special memory of the night.
