Bronny James was finally selected with the 55th overall pick of the NBA Draft and he will in fact be joining his father, LeBron James, on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Social media was in a frenzy as the father-son duo prepare to make history by being the first father and son to play together in the NBA.
Social media had plenty of reaction to this historic moment.
Bronny will have a lot to prove as many believed that the only reason he would be selected in the NBA Draft this year is because of his father is LeBron James.

It turned out that no other team was willing to use a draft selection on the younger James who was underwhelming in his first season as a guard at USC last year.
However, it comes as little surprise that the Lakers would use their 55th overall selection to select Bronny considering the circumstances.
While it will certainly be entertaining to witness, Bronny is very unlikely to make a significant impact on the Lakers next season.
