Jamal Murray’s year-by-year cap hit projections on his four-year, $208.5 million maximum extension with the Denver Nuggets. He could’ve added a fifth year worth $61.4 million if he re-signed as a free agent in 2025, but it makes sense to lock in the long-term security now.
These salary projections are based on a $141 million cap in 2024-25, followed by a 10% increase in 2025-26.
Murray won a championship with the Nuggets in 2023 and is widely regarded as one of the top active players to never to have been selected as an All-Star.
During the Nuggets’ title run, he averaged 26.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists over 20 games.
