Renowned boxer Ryan Garcia was arrested on Saturday for felony vandalism at a Beverly Hills hotel, as confirmed by a watch commander from the Beverly Hills Police Department to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger.
The incident occurred at the Waldorf Astoria hotel, where Garcia allegedly caused approximately $15,000 in damages, according to the police report.
Following his arrest, Garcia was taken to the Beverly Hills Police Department jail. He was later moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after he reported a medical issue.
Garcia’s lawyer, Darin Chavez, informed Coppinger that Garcia might face charges of public intoxication. Chavez noted that Garcia was hospitalized for both evaluation and treatment.

Law enforcement sources indicated to TMZ Sports that Garcia had damaged his hotel room and the hallway.
Garcia recently secured a surprising victory over WBC junior welterweight champion Devin Haney in April.
Nevertheless, he tested positive for the banned substance ostarine in several drug tests associated with the fight and is currently facing a possible suspension from the New York State Athletic Commission.
