The Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants share one of the NFL’s most storied rivalries, fueled by the geographical closeness of Philadelphia to New Jersey, which creates a significant overlap among their fan bases.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, known for his spirited interactions, often finds himself engaging with Giants fans.
“You know, sometimes you see Giants fans around here, being so close,” Sirianni said. “They’ll throw a ‘Hey, go Giants’ my way. I usually let it slide, but if someone really gets under my skin, I might just remind them, ‘Hey, we got your best player,'” he added with a grin.

The player in question is none other than running back Saquon Barkley, who joined the Eagles from the Giants via free agency this year.
Barkley, a former Penn State standout, revealed that the Giants did not make an offer to keep him.
Addressing a fan’s comment about him leaving New York for a division rival, Barkley responded, “Let me educate some of you fans here… I can’t bail or become a traitor if I never got an offer to come back. So, I went to the organization I felt was the best, and after being here for a month, man, I’m excited to be an Eagle! Go birds.”
