Angel Reese is $1,000 poorer after Saturday’s much-talked about Commissioner’s Cup between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky.
Of course, most of the talk has been surrounding Chennedy Carter’s blatant cheap shot foul which she delivered to Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Angel Reese was criticized quite a bit afterwards due to celebrating the play on the bench.
Fans were not pleased as to how Chicago Sky star Angel Reese reacted to the blatant cheap shot her teammate, Chennedy Carter, delivered to Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark during the WNBA’s Commissioner’s Cup.

Fans were outraged by the foul and Angel Reese’s reaction to it as well as she was seen celebrating following the incident.
Well, the WNBA has now announced a $1,000 fine for Reese and the Chicago Sky, but not because of anything that happened on the court on Saturday.
Angel Reese has been fined $1K for failing to make herself available to the media for postgame interviews following Saturday’s game vs. the Fever, the WNBA announced.
The Chicago Sky have also been fined $5K for failing to ensure all players comply with WNBA media policies.
Amid the drama, the Fever earned their second win of the season with a 71-70 victory.
