The woman at the center of a heated altercation with Kylie Kelce has publicly apologized and expressed her regret over the incident.
Andree Goldberg, identified as the individual involved, reportedly harassed the Kelce couple for a picture during their date night in Margate, New Jersey, over Memorial Day weekend.
Footage of the confrontation, which went viral, shows Goldberg confronting Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, and his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, outside a restaurant.
Goldberg shouted at Kylie,
“I don’t give a f**k who you are, you’ll never be allowed in this town again!”
Kylie responded,
“I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you’re embarrassing yourself.”
Goldberg claims she has already apologized to the Kelce family in private.
However, she has now released a public statement via Action News.
“In a heated moment, I said things that were out of character for me and that I regret and for that, I am sorry,” she said. “Although I apologized directly to the Kelce family on Saturday, I want to publicly apologize to them and our community. My anger and my actions are not who I am, and certainly not indicative of the welcoming community of Margate.”
She added,
“As an adult and proud member of my community, I should have recognized and respected their right to privacy from the onset. I am deeply appreciative of the grace and understanding shown to me by the Kelces and wish them nothing but the best.”
In the viral clip, Jason Kelce can be seen taking a backseat while his wife addressed Goldberg.
The incident reportedly began when Goldberg knocked on the window of the Kelces’ car.
According to reports, the couple was at “Steve & Cookies by the Bay” for a date night with another couple when Goldberg approached and began banging on their Tesla truck to get Jason’s attention.
After the Kelces exited their vehicle to see what was happening, Goldberg asked for a photo with her family.
Jason declined, citing it wasn’t a good time, which led Goldberg to become irate.
