Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady ended their 13-year marriage, and following their divorce, Bundchen faced significant online harassment.
However, she chose not to shy away from addressing the issues head-on.
Earlier this year, Bundchen shared that she had left what she considered an “unhealthy relationship” with Brady.
“This is a situation many women face, being criticized when they find the strength to leave an unhealthy relationship and then being labeled unfaithful,” Bundchen explained in an interview with The New York Times. “They face challenges within their communities and families. In my case, it’s just more public.”
Currently, Bundchen is in a relationship with Joaquim Valente, her family’s jiu-jitsu instructor. According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, things between them are progressing well. “Joaquim has been very supportive of Gisele. They share a caring, supportive relationship. Gisele is cautious, prioritizing her own well-being and that of her children. She is navigating her next steps thoughtfully, appreciating the positive relationship she now has,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
It is hoped that both Bundchen and Valente, as well as Brady, can move forward without further undue scrutiny or negativity from online commentators.
