Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are on a quest to make NFL history by clinching a third consecutive Super Bowl victory.
After defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in February 2023 and the San Francisco 49ers the following year, their sights are set on an unprecedented three-peat.
However, Tom Brady, the player with the most Super Bowl titles, expressed his reservations about the Chiefs’ chances during an interview on Colin Cowherd’s show. “The margin of error is razor-thin,” Brady cautioned.
“Winning one Super Bowl is extremely challenging. Achieving back-to-back victories, as the Chiefs have managed, is nearly impossible in the history of the sport. Attempting to secure three consecutive wins is even more daunting; it hasn’t been done because it’s tough enough to win just one.
“To aim for three consecutive titles, facing the challenges of drafting last, a challenging schedule, roster changes due to free agency, and maintaining motivation throughout—it’s a formidable task.
“That’s not to say the Chiefs can’t achieve it. They’re likely one of the favorites. But the probability of succeeding is significantly lower than 50 percent,” Brady explained.

Despite this setback, they rallied to make another Super Bowl run, but they acknowledge that last season’s success, particularly from their receivers, was extraordinary.
