Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has expressed his commitment to supporting wide receiver Rashee Rice during his challenging offseason.
Mahomes emphasized his dedication to helping Rice, who is currently entangled in legal issues stemming from a series of offseason events. On Wednesday, the quarterback voiced his eagerness to assist Rice in learning from his mistakes.
“We’re trying to do whatever we can to help him learn from his mistakes,” Mahomes stated. “We’re going to try to do whatever we can to get him on the right path.”

Two individuals who claim to have been injured in the crash are suing Rice in Texas, seeking over $1 million in actual damages and $10 million in punitive damages.
Additionally, Rice is under investigation as a suspect in an alleged assault that left a man injured at a Dallas nightclub earlier this month.
Despite these issues, Rice had an impressive debut season with the Chiefs, leading their wide receivers with 79 catches, 938 yards, and 7 touchdowns.
Despite the Chiefs’ intentions to support Rice, the NFL might still decide to send a stern message to him in the coming months.
