Controversial sports host Jason Whitlock will find any reason to hate on LeBron James.
Whitlock took the opportunity to criticize LeBron following his comments about Caitlin Clark.
During his appearance on the Mind the Game Pod with JJ Redick, James advised the up-and-coming WNBA star, saying, “My advice to Caitlin, and my advice to anyone that comes in with this level of notoriety, out-of-this-world expectation, whatever the case may be, be a horse, man. The Kentucky Derby. Put your blinders on, go to work, show up to work, punch your clock in, prepare yourself, work on your game, work on your craft. Kind of keep your mouth shut and just learn from the vets.”
James continued by mentioning his son, Bronny James, and he simply said that he would advise his son to do the same as Caitlin Clark and ignore all of the outside noise.

However, Whitlock somehow completely flipped that which led to his response below:
“This is amazing. LeBron just analogized his son, who averaged 5 points a game at USC, to the most transformational women’s college basketball player we’ve ever seen, Caitlin Clark. Two-time women’s player of the year. Women’s all-time leading scorer. She’s just like Bronny. OK.”
Fans were quick to point out that Whitlock is misguided on this one.
Simply put, Whitlock should have sat this one out.
