Caitlin Clark, only a few games into her WNBA career, is already making significant strides off the court with her latest endorsement deals.
From a young age, Caitlin Clark has been inseparable from a basketball, making her recent multiyear sponsorship deal with Wilson, the official basketball maker of the WNBA, a natural fit. Clark, who was the No. 1 overall pick by the Indiana Fever, is now in exclusive company, joining Michael Jordan as one of the few athletes to represent Wilson as a brand ambassador since the 1980s.
In a news release about the partnership, Clark fondly recalled her childhood experiences with a Wilson basketball. “I loved that thing more than anything. My brothers and I would always fight over it,” she shared.
In addition to the endorsement, Clark is set to launch a signature basketball collection later this year, which kicks off today with a special Wilson basketball highlighting key moments from her career. According to Boardroom, Clark and Michael Jordan are the only two athletes to have their own Wilson collection.

Wilson is also supporting the Caitlin Clark Foundation, which focuses on enhancing communities through sports, education, and nutrition, although the financial terms of the partnership have not been disclosed.
Wilson’s collaboration with basketball extends beyond individual sponsorships, having partnered with the WNBA, NBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League, and Basketball Africa League in 2020 to become the official game ball provider. The WNBA introduced its current ball in the 2022 season.
After an illustrious collegiate career at the University of Iowa, where she was known for her scoring prowess, Clark was drafted first overall by the Fever.
She recently signed a lucrative endorsement deal with Nike, reported by The Athletic to be worth $28 million, including her own signature shoe. This contract marks the most substantial endorsement deal ever for a female basketball player. Clark had a previous name, image, and likeness deal with Nike during her time at Iowa, which concluded after the 2023-2024 season. This new deal sets a new benchmark in women’s sports endorsements.
