Minnesota’s official state tourism website is riding the wave of Anthony Edwards’ viral remark.
Following the Timberwolves’ triumph over the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals, Edwards caught attention for his message to Charles Barkley during a postgame interview. Barkley confessed he hadn’t visited Minnesota in years, prompting Edwards to urge him to “bring your a–.”
The phrase gained so much traction that even the state’s tourism department joined in on the fun. On Monday, they shared a post guiding people to the “Explore Minnesota” website, complete with a graphic inspired by Edwards’ words.

By Monday afternoon, the quote was prominently displayed on the website’s front page.
But that’s not all. Minnesota-based comedian Jon Savitt seized the moment by purchasing the domain name bringyaa–.com and redirecting it to the aforementioned website, earning him a shoutout.
With the Timberwolves enjoying their deepest playoff run in two decades, it’s only fitting for the state to capitalize on Edwards’ unintentional marketing slogan.
