Caitlin Clark certainly isn’t receiving any special treatment in the WNBA.
During the first quarter of the Indiana Fever’s matchup against the New York Liberty at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., the rookie was jolted by a screen. As she attempted to guard Courtney Vandersloot, Clark unsuspectingly collided with a solid screen set by Breanna Stewart.
The impact was harsh, catching her off guard.

Typically, teammates shout out a warning about an approaching screen to help the player brace or adjust, but if such a warning was given, Clark seemed not to hear it.
This game marked the Fever’s second consecutive defeat to the Liberty, with New York securing a 91-80 victory on Saturday. Despite the team’s 0-3 record, Clark led her team with 22 points.
