Harrison Butker’s commencement speech at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, sparked mixed reactions, but it also gained him a significant number of new fans.
In the days following the speech, Butker’s jersey has surged in popularity on Fanatics, where it is now the top-selling item in the “jerseys” subsection. A screenshot confirms that Butker’s jersey is currently the “most popular” item.
In addition to online sales, brick-and-mortar stores are also struggling to keep Butker’s jerseys in stock.

KC news station KCTV reported that a local store named the Rally House had completely sold out of Butker jerseys amid his speech’s controversy.
“Just the demand after the speech – it’s been men and women. It’s been both calling to get his jersey,” the store’s manager, Aaron Lewis, reportedly told KCTV.
As of the time of publication, Butker’s jersey is listed as the best-selling Kansas City Chiefs item on the Fanatics website.
During his speech to graduates of the small liberal arts college, Butker expressed his personal views on various religious, political, and family issues, and he also criticized President Biden.
