On “First Take,” banter among hosts Stephen A. Smith, Shannon Sharpe, and Molly Qerim often revolves around playful ribbing about their outfits.
Typically, the jokes target Smith, and occasionally Sharpe, but last month saw Qerim playfully teased by her co-hosts, switching up the usual dynamic.
Qerim sported a skintight red dress on set, leading to comparisons with Elastigirl from “The Incredibles.”
Smith and Sharpe found themselves momentarily speechless, unable to find the right words to describe the eye-catching ensemble.

Qerim took the teasing in stride, demonstrating her good-natured approach to the playful banter. And the show has undeniably seen a significant boost since Sharpe’s transition from Fox Sports 1.
“First Take” achieved another significant viewership milestone in 2023.
Hosted by Molly Qerim and featuring commentator and executive producer Stephen A. Smith, the show reached its highest viewership ever, averaging 496,000 viewers, as announced by ESPN at the end of the year.
In December, the show continued its impressive streak of year-over-year viewership growth, marking 17 consecutive months of increased viewership.
December proved to be the second most-watched month on record for “First Take,” with an average of 611,000 viewers, up 24 percent compared to the previous year.
While we’re currently in a quieter period of the sports calendar, anticipation is building for the upcoming football season, promising to bring heightened excitement and engagement to the show.
