After his team’s defeat in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was not shy about confronting the competition.
The Denver Nuggets leveled the series 2-2 with a 115-107 victory at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Despite taking an early lead, the Timberwolves could not regain the upper hand, as Denver maintained control throughout the game, extending their lead to 18 points at times.
Post-game, Edwards was seen exchanging words with the Nuggets’ Murray as the buzzer sounded.

During the postgame press conference, when asked about the exchange, Edwards made it clear he was undeterred by the on-court banter. “I just told him, ‘We love that. Keep talking. That’s what we like.’ Well, I love it. He didn’t say anything back, but I’m pretty sure he heard me. They heard me. We live for that,” Edwards shared with the media.
Despite Edwards’ standout performance, scoring a game-high 44 points on 16/25 shooting, the Timberwolves struggled as no other player scored more than 15 points.
On the Nuggets’ side, Nikola Jokic led with an MVP-caliber 35 points, accompanied by 7 rebounds and 7 assists, while Aaron Gordon added 27 points on nearly flawless shooting. Murray contributed 19 points and 8 assists, helping secure the Nuggets’ victory.
