Fans eager to see Bill Belichick on ESPN’s “ManningCast” will be thrilled to learn that the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach will be a fixture on the alternate “Monday Night Football” broadcast this season.
Peyton Manning shared this update during an appearance on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday, stating that Belichick will join the broadcast during every episode, typically early in the game.
“Bill is going to be a permanent guest on every ‘ManningCast’ show, probably joining us in the first quarter,” Manning said. “He’ll offer insights into defensive strategies or what specific challenges the quarterback will face in the game.”
Manning also shared a light-hearted note on how he convinced Belichick to participate: “I told him, ‘Bill, we’d love your expertise, especially on defense, like what the Eagles need to do to contain Patrick Mahomes.’ And I added, ‘If you ever run out of things to say, you can always make fun of Eli—that’s a great way to fill time.’ We all know he and Eli have their history from those two Super Bowls, so it adds a fun dynamic.”

This consistent presence of Belichick is sure to draw viewers eager for his expert analysis and the unique Manning brothers’ banter.
